  • Login to the file-server (Administrators only).
  • Open Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Backup
  • Got to the tab Restore and Manage Media.
  • In the left window browse to the desired folder or file.
  • In the lower left corner Restore files to: select Alternate location or Single folder. Do NOT choose original location to avoid undesired overwriting of data.
  • Browse to an Alternate location (somewhere on the server where the user can take it from).
  • Click Start Restore.
