• set Preferences > Accounts > Primary Account Settings > Reply-to: check and fill in your mail account with .com to make sure you also keep receiving the mails in Thunderbird

Wanted

• IP phone synchronization
• paste from Excel/Office

• Skype synchronization
  • possible to use 2 accounts in the same time?
  • possible to transfer calls to other accounts?

Advantages

Filtering incoming email and automatic move to folder

Disadvantages

• it does not display pictures in mail
• more spam
• it cannot filter sent messages?

• how to import adressbook from Thunderbird
• how to filter the sent messages
• how to create new email accounts
• how to add Skype phone to contacts

Issues

• Geanina receives mail from SH only in Zimbra, not in Thunderbird
• Attila Kertesz@hotmail.com receives mail with delay of several days
• customer replies to mails sent from Zimbra are rejected (Ionut, Retec)

Considerations

• financial
  • this year we intend to buy Excel for all workstations: it might be attractive to buy an Office suit with Outlook
  • we might want to change our ERP into Access format: makes an Office suit even more attractive (alternative is an open source database)
