  • Pontoon to be suitable for use in oil ports (regulations)


  • Construction
    • width to be extended by 2m at CL
    • deck load 2 ton/m2 minimum
    • aftship to have recess for receiving bow of pushboat
    • 2 coupling winches at aftdeck, minimum 500mm from boat side, about 10 ton per winch
    • hatches of sufficient size for each compartment with coaming 500mm height


  • Suction box
    • water intake box for fifi container suitable for flow rate 23m3/minute
    • suction box to have removable water inlet grills
    • idea is to have a box which can be lowered beneath the bottom with 2 worm winches


  • Railing and safety
    • at longitudinal sides a horizontal pipe Ø80-100 thickwalled, about 150mm above deck, stanchions every 1500mm, on top of it the railing, total height to be 1m

    • twistlocks and subframes for 2 container units of 5.50m, placed transverse on deck of pontoon
