License update

To add a new license or moving to a new release of AutoCad the network license file must be updated.

  1. E-mail the standard license file request form with the serial number and the number of seats to Autodesk (Authcodes.neu@autodesk.com) and a new license file will be returned.
  2. Rename the file with a clear descriptive name
  3. Change the extension into *.lic
  4. Copy the license file at the server to the folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk Network License Manager\License
  5. Move the old file into the subfolder old files
  6. Open the license manager application LMTools and reread the license file under the tab Start/Stop/Reread
