Flamingo brings the raytrace and radiosity rendering inside Rhino. This plug-in includes:
Rendering
Photometrically accurate images with reflections, refraction, diffusion, translucency, transparency, color bleeding, hard and soft shadows, depth of field, depth attenuation, and indirect lighting.
Materials
Drag and drop from an extensive material library with user controllable properties including defuse color, reflections, refraction, translucency, transparency, depth attenuation, bitmap textures with tiling and masking, procedural 2-D and 3-D materials, ClearFinish™, and angular blend.
Lighting
Lighting options include directional, point, spot, linear, rectangular, and goniometric lights, sun, ground, sky, and global illumination using a light dome or an HDR image.
Other features
Procedural clouds, fractal-generated 3-D plants, progressive-refinement for quick preview, RPC support, Piranesi EPix support, and extensive plant and background libraries.
