These are the default settings for AutoCad at Navyk.

  • Tools > Options > Open and Save > File Save > Save as: - AutoCad 2004
  • Tools > Options > Open and Save > File Save Precautions > Automatic Save - 5 Minutes between saves
  • Tools > Options > Open and Save > File Save Precatuions > Create back up copy with each save - Uncheck
  • Tools > Options > Plot and Publish > Plot and publish log file > Automatically save plot and publish file - Uncheck
  • Tools > Options > Plot and Publish > Plot and publish log file > Default plot settings for new drawings > Use as default output device - PDF creator
  • Tools > User Preferences > Shortcut menus in drawing area - Uncheck
  • Tools > User Preferences > Insertion scale > Source content units: - Millimeters
  • Tools > User Preferences > Insertion scale > Target drawing units: - Millimeters
  • Tools > User Preferences > Associative Dimensioning > Make new dimensions associative - Check
  • Tools > Files > Printer Support File Path > PlotStyle Table Search Path - replace the existing path with H:\Documents and Settings\AutoCad\
  • Tools > Files > Template settings > Drawing Template File Location- replace the existing path with H:\Documents and Settings\AutoCad\
  • Tools > Files > Template settings > Sheet Set Template File Location- replace the existing path with H:\Documents and Settings\AutoCad\
  • Tools > Files > ToolPallettes File Location > - replace the existing path with H:\Documents and Settings\AutoCad\ToolPalettes AutoCad 200X
  • Units > Length > Type: - Decimal
  • Units > Length > Precision: - 0.000
  • Units > Angle > Type: - Decimal Degrees
  • Units > Angle > Precision: - 0.000
  • Units > Insertion scale > Units to scale inserted content: - Millimeters
