General

  • Yard is Centreboard (HU)
  • Lay out A is for the first boat, we have those drawings as a reference, see inbox/00-2D PROJECT X.dwg
  • Lay out B is our boat (the second), it is a charter version with 8 berths
  • Not all space is used when it is inefficient or hard to reach for use
  • Furniture is prefabricated outside the boat as much as possible, furniture enters the boat via a cut out in the aftdeck of 1400x1200, for boat #4 this cutout will be 1400x1400
  • Yard manager used to draw CNC building kits himself in 2D AutoCad
  • Sheets are nested full, if possible move parts to another material in order to obtain this
  • Carpenters are supposed to assemble the interior without drawings (only reference are the codes)
  • access behind joinery - every space needs to be accessible for cleaning (to remove construction debris which might block bilgepumps)

  • 4mm rubber above enginer room only, all other sole panels are directly on steel construction

  • sole only where necessary, continue 20mm beyond bhd (for 20x20 slat)
  • sole stops against wet units

Ceilings

  • 17mm basewood is mounted against all frames (see layer 1-BET-DS*)
  • thickness ceiling strips 13mm - see layer '0A-PLAFONDPLATEN'
  • aft cabin has an addtional base panel of 9mm because of girders

Port hole boxes and curtain pockets

    • lining is 8mm and comes with porthole see layer frees Berken Naturel 04 (myst be 8mm)

Remarks Cabin 1 (forepeak)

  • V-berth with filling piece to make it a double berth
  • level berth as layout A, box under bed can be copied (layer 1-BET-US: VK-H2-01, 03 and 04, VK-V1-06, VK-V1-07 and VK-V2-04, see also drawing VK-Agy allat (sounds Hungarian..)
  • box under berth should be the same because of battery for bow thruster
  • if possible use same wardrobes and shelf as in layout A: 1-BET-US-VK-K3-01 and 03 UPDATE: wardrobes must be modified for layout-A and will not fit in layout-B
  • locker in forepeak bhd as in layout-A, this locker has a bottom- forward hinging aftpanel and removable shelf to give access to the chain locker, see dwg VK-OR SZENKRENY K6
  • wet unit has 37mm space between wall and 5mm lining to accommodate piping see picture 001 and 007
  • forepeak bhd has sleeves to support bookshelves see picture 004 and wardrobe top (is ceiling sidedeck)

Remarks Salon / Galley

  • settee as long as possible, foot end of berth cabin 2 under settee, if not possible than sofa as in layout A (part SF-H3-01)
  • seat height is 350mm + 17mm seat panel
  • galley 'floats' partly above engine room hatches
  • galley parts from layout A can be used again
  • galley forward cabinet houses the distribution panel (W550xH750xD182) in the side, parallel to CL (see lay out A SH-K2)
  • converter in layout A was in locker with distribution panel, now a new location must be found
  • 37mm space aft of wetunit to accommodate water connections?
  • frame around aft window is 55mm deep, see picture 009. In front of this a panel 11mm white (will be painted)which stops on top of back of settee, 495 above seat.
  • settee back has inspection hatch for connections shower

Remarks Bathroom 2 (aft PS)

  • modifications made by yard, see mail (mail 20-06-2011)
  • locker under sink to be lowered 100mm (mail 20-06-2011)

Remarks Bathroom 3 (aft SB)

  • longitudinal length to be reduced by 100mm
  • see cabin 3 for position of aft bulkhead
  • position for forward bulkhead as layout A

Remarks Cabins aft

  • modify:
    • overhead locker enters into ceiling - lower with 6mm (front is OK)
    • frame intersects with ceiling - make cutout in ceiling, see layout-A
    • ceiling stops against overhead locker front, goes at sides beyond it - see layout-A
    • wardrobe shelves are too short, extend with 5
    • standard hatch detail: change overlap from 20 to 15
    • inclinated sole panels - exterior contour to be parallel with CL
    • inclinated sole panels - extend on aft side to allow for 20x20 for supporting wall?
    • aft bhd SB - groove for supporting upper bed
    • bathroom walls - add groove for supporting upper beds (5mm in Abet is not enough)
    • upper berth SB - cut behind lining, not to be support by stringer
    • upper berth SB - add cutout for frame
  • missing:
    • side porthole cutouts
    • escape hatch transom panels (PVC) + sides (15mm 2x white)
    • escape hatch cutouts in Vescom panels (size conform Gebo musquito screen)
    • basewood for ceiling


Modifications?

  • overhead lockers - hinges on topedge? less forces on hinge
  • drawers - plywood drawer box?

Nesting

  • Cutter is Ø18
  • Nest edge offset - 5mm
  • Nest part offset - 22mm but more with corners <90°!, offset contour with 18mm and fillet corners with radius 9 to see cutter path

Systems

  • electric - sleevepipes pass through frames (hole Ø26mm), in insulation
  • fresh water piping - pass through frames, in insulation

Remarks

  • improvements:
    • push button latch distance to edge to be the same for doors, drawers, etc.
    • furniture door bumpers?
    • door overlay is for double overlay, detail for corner cabinet (full overlay?)
