The drawing revision is the last position of the file name. Preliminary drawings are with numbers, final drawings with letters. As soon as a drawing has been send it must be made 'read only'.
Status
- WIP - Work in progress - drawing is being worked on, has not been sent to client
- X (revision letter) - drawing has been send to client, not allowed to modify, drawing must be 'read only' (properties)
- X-WIP - work in progress for new revision
Modifications

Possible improvements
- indicate status of drawing:
- add P for Preliminary to revision letter, add PRELIMINARY text above titleblock?
- add 'By' to revision block?
- add 'Checked' (Ck'd) to revision block?
