• 14 - ERP (hours, invoices, finances, licenses, depreciation, personel)

  • AutoCAD - installation, profiles

MAINTENANCE

• schedule in calendar manual maintenance
• updates when and where? (for example Filezilla and PDF Creator)

SERVERS

Windows server

• currently 15 CAL licenses (required 1 per WS) - do we already need to buy a new package? - if we grow past this point, yes we do
• schedule automatic defragmentation:
  • every 2 months
  • on sunday
  • staff to be informed that working will not be possible on that day (Zimbra notification)

FTP server

• reinstall - done
• possibly split in near future to decrease impact of down time? - not necessary

WORKSTATIONS

• recovery disk - not worth it. might do images of the NX workstations only
• schedule automatic defragmentation for the non SSD workstations - automatic not possible. scheduling manual defrag twice a year
• upgrade XP stations (MS will stop support this year?) - not worth it
• WS-1 - Marlena's profile is on D: and might not be automatic backed up, move back to C? - done
• schedule WS maintenance by CRC - to be done
• profiles: - everyone has their own roaming profiles

USER RIGHTS

• user rights - make structure (administrator / power user / normal user) now we have several people who log in as administrator - only NX people and Ovidiu have admin rights on their workstations
• Ligia is logged in as administrator only for KP to appear as a male user in NX - SH will discuss this with KP

SOFTWARE

• make software policy for company and for users - to be done
• create a list of installed cracks (especially BSA software) - work in progress
• anti virus
  • maximum 9 Windows Essential - done
  • other workstations with Avira (gives 2x per day an annoying pop up) - can't do anything about that
• monitor for installed software and hardware workstations - tried it. not really feasible (slows WS too much). done hardware inventory and users can't install software
• monitor for software use - to track the usage of applications (useful ifno for purchase) - work in progress
• LMTools - to make a batch file that would restart it daily (Tabo's request) - not necessary

Zimbra
