General[edit]

Contacts[edit]

  • client is Attila Kertesz (contractant), he intends to sell these boats, see Globessy
  • yard is Centreboard
  • yard contacperson is Jan van der Weide

Issues[edit]

  • use more curved surfaces (single curvature) to create a boat atmoshpere (11mm aftwalls in toilet for example)
  • doors are too thin for drill in hinges (drill center goes through front face), minimum door thickness 19mm
  • all solid profiles to extend 1mm beyond plywood (shadow seam, less critical)
  • furniture doorframes 2mm thicker than doorpanel (1mm aft and 1mm fore)
  • corner profiles R50 are too strong, when deformed the plywood will not correct them
  • sole plan - add soleline
  • interior set up - show frame lines over all longitudinal sections
  • sole plan - step salon/galley - transvere board is too short at CL side (does not connect to sofa side, appears a gap of 10mm)
  • bulkheads/cladded webframes - require 10mm tolerance fore and aft
  • ceilings and lining
    • general - too labour intensive
    • Fast mount - labour intensive, partly due to tools
    • future: mount ceiling basewood on top of furniture before deck is mounted
    • basewood strips - connections are with lamello but they do not add any reinforcement (add plywood CNC part on top of it?)
    • basewood rings for hatches - do not match?
    • deckhouse panels are too short:
      • offset from construction is too small
      • Jan moved complete interior aftward because of thicker mast bulkhead
  • deck positioning - because GRP deck is in aftship wider than interior dimension of caprail, the deck must be slided aftward into position, this gives conflicts with the joinery bulkheads
  • deck hatches - positions are not correct
  • furniture mouldings - round corners must be CNC milled in the future
  • portholes - total wallthickness in way of toilet is far too much for porthole flange
  • Forex - material has 1 foil protected face so panels must be mirrored, now one side of the boat is with scratched lining/ceiling panels

Sole[edit]
