Backup a ShipConstructor project for sending or archiving

  • remove all:
    • BAK files - EXCEPT the SC database file!!!
    • DWL files
    • LOG files
    • TXT files
    • TMP files
    • files from the Export folder
    • files from the NestPrts folder (SC2005 only)

Moving a project to the Projects-history partition

  • Backup the SC project as described above
  • Back up the ShipConstructor SQL database via Administrator and store the file in the folder Drawings \ project code database
  • Create a folder in the root of the project named 'Mail'
  • Export the Zimbra mail archive to the Mail folder
  • Remove the folder from Zimbra
