  • as high as possible
  • allround clear view at horizon
  • minimum 3 meter horizontal distance to VHF antenna
  • minimum 2 meter vertical distance to VHF antenna

  • allround clear view at horizon
  • as low as possible - GPS has such high accuracy that high in a moving mast gives a nervous reading
