    • ISO requirements for open deck or partially sheltered cat D:
      • It is the responsibility of the owner/operator to have at least one bailer/draw bucket on board, secured against accidental loss.
      • ISO recommends the use of a bilge pump(recommends only and does not mention the type)
      • capacity - 15 l/min for boats with LH greater than 6 m and less than 12 m
        • these volumes shall be achieved when the pump is subjected to a pressure of 10 kPa. For manual bilge pumps, the capacity shall be rated for 45 strokes per minute
      • no secondary bilge pump is required
  • Steering - hydraulic lines through keel stainless steel pipe
  • Fuel
    • fuel tank - PP custom made
    • fuel fill - filler cap directly on top of tank
    • fuel tank vent - hole in filler cap
    • fuel tank is allowed in the engine compartment
    • an air gap to prevent any contact between the tank and engine is required(unless an equivalent thermal barrier is provided) (ISO 9094-1)
      • 100 mm between a petrol engine and a fuel tank
      • 250 mm between a dry exhaust and a fuel tank
