15038 Bestevaer 45 ST Pure

'Pure' is the name of new line of yachts, of which the first boat is named 'Nescio'. This first boat will be build for Eeuwe Kooi himself (owner/director KMY).

Planning

  • Conform mail Willem Berends of July 16
  • WK 30 Navyk to implement all comments and changes.
  • WK 30 End of the week Navyk will send the draft files for review.
  • WK 32 Bamboo wood will be delivered to KMY for surface preparations.
  • WK 33 Until Wednesday Noon, KMY has the time to review and send some additional remarks.
  • WK 34 All wood material (exl. floor) will be deliverer at CNC works.
  • WK 34 End of this week Navyk will deliver the complete files to KMY.
  • WK 35 CNC will cut all materials en deliver to the KMY.

Parts

  • one side veneer > add 'top veneer' or 'bottom veneer' to part label? (for milling operator)

Issues and mistakes

  • panel thickness tolerance > larger than 1mm > resulting in many gaps > Kuiper did not deliver sanded/calibrated panels
  • deckhouse
    • lining > window cutouts > offset is made outside instead of inside
    • lining > aft wall (SU-01-09) > window cutout has moved (SU-01-07 is okay)

Structure model - modifications!

  • Pilothouse - between the windows will be a vertical T-profile with a web of 50x6 and a flange of 50x8
  • Entrance door forecabin - to be determined by Navyk, it will be a joinery door, not an aluminum door
  • sole structure - to be determined, Navyk will make a price offer for this
